Entry is permitted up to 15 minutes after the time shown on your ticket. You may remain inside the museum until closing.
Visitors who need assistance navigating the museum may bring one companion free of charge. A companion ticket can be collected at cash register 1.
The museum’s cafés and shops operate cashless and do not accept cash payments.
Only handbags no larger than A4 size are allowed inside. Larger bags, umbrellas, and similar items must be stored in the cloakroom.
Tickets are valid only for the selected date and time slot and cannot be changed. Late arrivals or no-shows may forfeit entry, refunds, or rescheduling.
If you expect to arrive late, please speak with Rijksmuseum staff at the entrance. While entry cannot be guaranteed, assistance may be provided subject to availability.
Boarding for the 75-minute Amsterdam canal cruise takes place at the pier near the Rijksmuseum.
