Salseros and salseras beware: we are making a huge hit this summer for the tenth edition of Salsa Panorama, featuring none other than Alain Pérez and his orchestra. This bandleader and singer was born in Manaca Iznaga, Cuba, and was already on stage at the age of eight. He developed into a conductor, arranger, producer and composer in all kinds of genres, from salsa to flamenco and jazz. As such, he collaborated with a huge diversity of musicians, including such stars as Paco de Lucía, Estrella Morente, Celia Cruz, Chucho Valdés, Issac Delgado and Miguel Poveda. For this edition, Alain Pérez will perform with his 12-member orchestra.
After the concert there will be Salsa Panorama, the Cuban Salsa social in our café with fantastic views, where you can dance until the wee hours. Experienced or not, everyone is welcome. Salsa Panorama, organized by Salsa District, has become a tradition in the BIMHUIS: this is already the ninth edition.
