A 90-minute intensive masterclass for advanced dancers who already master milonga lisa and traspie, and wish to refine their rhythm, precision, and connection.
Taught by Leo Ortiz (Milonga Champion of Buenos Aires City 2014) and Lorena García (4th Place Milonga – European Championship 2025), this workshop dives into the true essence of milonga: musical dialogue, grounded movement, and expressive flow.
We’ll explore:
- Rhythmic elasticity and timing control
- Complex traspies and rebound dynamics
- Energy and phrasing with contrast and clarity
- Shared axis, circular motion and connection flow
- Musical interpretation with freedom and intention
