In a world racing toward the next digital upgrade, visual designer and storyteller Shacyz asks a different question: "What if the real upgrade happens when we slow down and get our hands dirty?"

With 17 years of experience and deep roots in Amsterdam's creative scene, Shacyz creates work that feels like a love letter to the city's vibrant spirit.
His recent solo exhibition A Better U celebrates the beautifully imperfect side of human creation championing process over perfection, and connection over convenience. While algorithms chase efficiency, his practice invites us to pause and remember what it means to stay wonderfully, messily human. This workshop is an extension of that philosophy.

For two hours inside the Kings of Indigo store in the Nine Streets, you'll explore Japanese-inspired ink techniques that prioritize flow over control, intuition over precision. Through bold shapes, layered textures, and playful prompts, you'll rediscover the tactile joy of making something with your own hands—no Wi-Fi required.
