On Saturday, November 8, Fiesta De Los Muertos takes over IJland Amsterdam for a night of vibrant celebration, honoring the spirits of the past and the joy of the present. Inspired by the rich traditions of Mexico’s Día de los Muertos, this immersive event combines music, dance, and spectacular visuals in a one-of-a-kind experience that pays homage to the dead while celebrating life to the fullest.
Step into a world of color, rhythm, and ritual. Expect an all-out transformation of the venue, complete with elaborate decorations, a ceremonial altar, dazzling visuals, and roaming performers. Attendees are encouraged to dress in theme—face paint and creative costumes are highly appreciated. For those wanting to fully embrace the look, professional make-up artists will be available on site to create stunning Day of the Dead-inspired designs.
Musically, Fiesta De Los Muertos will be an explosive mix of Latin American dance beats, blending afro house, latin house, and tribal rhythms with touches of traditional music. Behind the decks and on stage, a stellar lineup of artists will light up the night:
