A pulse you don’t just hear and feel, you become
Breath of Freedom is a breath-based concert where live-composed electronic music, ambient layers, and immersive soundscapes merge with connected breathing. Guided by breath coach Simone Alicia and multi-instrumentalist Eveline Ypma, a sensory journey unfolds where breath and sound become one. What begins as a personal breath journey grows into a collective experience of deep relaxation and unity—where walls of judgement, differences, and labels slowly dissolve.
All of this takes place in the Singel kerk in Amsterdam. A hidden church between the Singel and Herengracht canals. Modest on the outside, light and spacious on the inside, with high vaults, grey stained-glass windows, and a warm wooden plank floor. During Breath of Freedom, this serene space towers over you like a cocoon: a secure, intimate, and safe sound space where everyone’s breath follows its own rhythm, creating a collective bubble of energy and a deep sense of unity.
Chances are you’ll experience deep peace and expanded awareness afterward, as if body, mind, and spirit are dancing together in balance again. This togetherness leaves behind a strong sense of connection, freedom, and trust.
