Do you want to learn a fast-paced and stylish swing dance? Take a drop-in class at our weekly Balboa course!

Beginners classes:
- Monday 21:00-22:00 @Kompaszaal (East)
- Thursday 19:00-20:00 @SP Club (North)

Experienced classes:
- Friday 19:00-20:00 @Kompaszaal (East)
- Best to wear shoes with slippery soles

Balboa is a swing dance originating from the Balboa Peninsula (Southern California) in the 1920s. Fast paced Black-American jazz music in combination with crowded dance halls birthed a dance style that is characterised by a close partner embrace, intricate footwork, and smooth and precise movements.
