But perfection comes at a cost, and it’s crushing her.
After being robbed and then falling out with her two best colleagues and friends, she finds herself betrayed and alone on the most important night of her career.
A wealthy Russian businessman has booked out the entire restaurant, demanding her famous cake — and service begins in two hours.
Desperate, Gabrielle scrambles to train two last-minute replacements to help her carry out her impossibly precise methods. But her new sous-chef Patty is stubborn, defiant, and refuses to follow instructions. And Jimmy, the new waiter, is charmingly incompetent… and far too distracting.
To survive tonight, she just needs to get these two to stick to the plan. But the plan is going up in flames…
