Cette épreuve à étapes sur deux jours s’inscrit dans la série mondiale des courses d’aventure (ARWS) et vise à offrir aux participants et participantes une expérience sportive et humaine inoubliable, tout en mettant en valeur la beauté et les attraits de la région.

Les équipes parcourront environ 150 km en vélo de montagne, course à pied/trekking et kayak, sur un tracé non balisé où l’orientation se fait à l’aide de cartes et boussole. Conçu pour défier les équipes expérimentées, le parcours propose aussi des points de contrôle optionnels, permettant aux nouvelles équipes d’adapter la difficulté à leurs objectifs.

Format : Équipes de 2 (hommes, femmes ou mixte)

Places limitées : 60 équipes

Frais d’inscription : 750 $ + taxes par équipe (incluant transport des bacs, vélos et kayaks, location de kayak, prêt d’un dispositif de suivi satellitaire, cartes, ainsi que le repas d’après-course du dimanche).

The St. Lawrence Adventure Race will take place on May 16–17, 2026, in the Val-Brillant area of the Matapédia Valley (QC). This two-day stage race is part of the Adventure Racing World Series (ARWS) and aims to provide participants with an unforgettable sporting and human experience while showcasing the beauty and attractions of the region.

Teams will cover approximately 150 km of mountain biking, trekking/running, and kayaking on an unmarked course, navigating only with map and compass. Designed to challenge experienced teams, the course also features optional checkpoints, allowing new teams to tailor the level of difficulty to their goals.

Format: Teams of 2 (male, female, or mixed)

Capacity: Limited to 60 teams

Entry fee: $750 + tax per team (includes gear box, bike, and kayak transport, kayak rental, satellite tracking device, maps, and Sunday post-race meal)
