This will include the familiarisation of The Backyard as an area within RUGS, the Rantaian Urban Green Spaces landscape, whose initiative is to enhance urban green areas and ecological corridors.
Other issues to be highlighted will include the various methods that were adopted in mobilising the project. We are pleased to share how we have harnassed technology to enable cross-agency coordination, enabling the mapping of hotspots and wildlife routes within the area, the monitoring of the ecosystem and the introduction of citizen science towards creating community empowerment. Within this realm is evidence that community mobilisation and the conservation of the forest and preservation of wildlife can exist.
