We are planning to visit Mazraet el Teffeh this time.

Mazraet el Teffeh is an incredible village in the Zgharta district, renowned for its rare forests. It derived its name from the apple trees that once flourished abundantly within it. While the apple trees have dwindled over time, the population of pine and oak trees has increased, expanding the lush green forest to become one of the finest in the world.

Hiking in Mazraet El Teffeh feels like traversing through a tunnel of greenery, with trees and bushes densely packed together. The area is abundant in water sources and ancient stone pathways, offering remarkable views at every turn. The sight of vast green mountains with a majestic waterfall nestled between them is truly awe-inspiring, particularly during the vigorous flow of spring.

The hike will commence from the village of Sebaal and will be divided into three levels. Along the way, you'll encounter the historic Mar Doumit church, dating back over a thousand years, where Youssef Beik Karam achieved victory over the Turks.

For LEVEL 6, the trail will present several challenging crossings, including a narrow bridge with open sides, before leading to a scenic water spring with a reservoir nestled in the rocks. The journey culminates at the magnificent waterfalls, where the group will reconvene for lunch before concluding the hike in Mazraet el Teffeh village.

LEVEL 5 and LEVEL 4 will follow a less strenuous path after Nabeh Ozit. LEVEL 4 will take a shortcut and catch the bus to meet the others at the waterfalls, while LEVEL 5 will ascend along the water pipe to Nabeh El Keif's grand waterfalls, offering breathtaking views. All levels will then proceed to the village of Mazraet el Teffeh, where a delightful homemade lunch awaits at a charming guesthouse surrounded by nature and farms, accompanied by a taste of Arak from karke.

On our return journey, we will make a stop to visit Bnachaeh lake.

Nous prévoyons de visiter Mazraet el Teffeh cette fois-ci.

Mazraet el Teffeh est un village incroyable du district de Zgharta, réputé pour ses forêts rares. Il tire son nom des pommiers qui ont prospéré en abondance autrefois. Bien que les pommiers aient diminué au fil du temps, la population de pins et de chênes a augmenté, agrandissant la luxuriante forêt verte pour en faire l'une des meilleures au monde.

La randonnée à Mazraet El Teffeh donne l'impression de traverser un tunnel de verdure, avec des arbres et des buissons densement regroupés. La région est riche en sources d'eau et en anciens sentiers de pierre, offrant des vues remarquables à chaque tournant. La vue des vastes montagnes vertes avec une majestueuse cascade nichée entre elles est vraiment impressionnante, surtout pendant le flot vigoureux du printemps.

La randonnée commencera depuis le village de Sebaal et sera divisée en trois niveaux. En chemin, vous rencontrerez l'église historique de Mar Doumit, datant de plus de mille ans, où Youssef Beik Karam a remporté la victoire sur les Turcs.

Pour le NIVEAU 6, le sentier présentera plusieurs passages difficiles, y compris un pont étroit avec des côtés ouverts, avant de mener à une pittoresque source d'eau avec un réservoir niché dans les rochers. Le voyage culmine aux magnifiques cascades, où le groupe se retrouvera pour le déjeuner avant de conclure la randonnée dans le village de Mazraet el Teffeh.

Les NIVEAUX 5 et 4 suivront un chemin moins ardu après Nabeh Ozit. Le NIVEAU 4 prendra un raccourci et attrapera le bus pour retrouver les autres aux cascades, tandis que le NIVEAU 5 montera le long de la conduite d'eau jusqu'aux grandes cascades de Nabeh El Keif, offrant des vues à couper le souffle. Tous les niveaux se rendront ensuite au village de Mazraet el Teffeh, où un délicieux déjeuner maison vous attend dans une charmante maison d'hôtes entourée de nature et de fermes, accompagné d'une dégustation d'Arak de Karke.

Sur le chemin du retour, nous ferons une halte pour visiter le lac de Bnachaeh.
