- **Event Description**: Dear Lebanese Outdoor Adventurers, join us this Sunday for a unique & colorful trail in Horsh Ehden Nature Reserve and its highlands.

DESCRIPTION: Horsh Ehden is a nature reserve located in North Lebanon. It contains a particularly diverse and beautiful remnant forest of Cedars of Lebanon, making the reserve a very important part of the country’s cultural and natural heritage. Our hike will start at an altitude of 1,500 m and we will reach 2,050 m. We will pass by beautiful landscapes and we will have short breaks (water and lunch break), rest, and take some exceptional photos of the amazing views we will see on our way. We will take the footpath which leads to the upper reaches of the reserve, where we can enjoy spectacular views and admire the breathtaking scenery.

•	Level:  Moderate Plus
•	Hiking duration: 5 Hours
•	Distance:  12km
•	Total Ascent: 550m
•	Total Descent: 550m
•	Meeting: Sunday 19th of October 2025 at 7:00am, Jal-el-Dib, behind DHL, at the parking lot. (We can pick up the hikers who live on our way)
•	Departure: 7:30am (SHARP).
•	Breakfast stop on our way (15 minutes)
•	Estimated time of arrival back in Beirut: 6:00 pm

 To be prepared for this hike, you will need:
•	Hiking shoes
•	Buff/ Beanie / Warm headwear
•	Lightweight windproof /waterproof jacket 
•	Healthy snacks (sandwiches, energy bars, dried fruits, nuts…).Water (2 liters)
•	Hiking sticks
•	ID & personal insurance cards.
•	Don’t forget your positive vibes and smile :)

Contribution: 20 USD or equivalent market rate in LBP to include: Transportation, LOA guides, and a first aid kit, but does not cover medical insurance. Entrance fees to Ehden Forest Nature Reserve: (For Lebanese: 300,000 LL & For foreigners: 700,000 LL)
