We begin with a visit to the sacred Lady of Bechouat monastery, renowned for its divine miracles. From there, we’ll hike through stunning landscapes, offering panoramic views of the Bekaa Valley and Lebanon’s highest peaks: Qornet al Sawda, Jabal al Shaikh, and Sannine. Along the way, we’ll pass the world’s largest illuminated rosary, a symbol of faith. Our hike is divided into two levels: • Level 3 (7 km): A moderate hike with scenic views. • Level 5 (12 km): A more challenging route for experienced hikers. Afterward, we’ll head to Cave Rouge winery for a wine tasting. The two trails will then split: • Level 3 visits WADA, the Women’s Association of Deir El Ahmar. • Level 5 takes a longer route with more beautiful views. Both groups will reconvene at WADA, where local women will serve a traditional Lebanese lunch, concluding a perfect day of exploration and connection.
