Winding Down - Spinning on the Rock

Join us for a 4 week series with in the ancient art of drop-spinning using a rock and a stick. This hands-on approach utilizes resources from the natural world and the resulting artisans' style yarn is both beautiful and unique. We welcome beginners and experienced spinners alike on this path of discovery (or rediscovery) of the art. Home-schoolers and teachers will walk away with a timeless craft to enjoy and to share.

LOCATION: Natura Realms, 114 Route 101A, Amherst, NH
4 Week Series: November 4, 11, 18 & Dec 2nd - 4:00 - 6:00pm

Aleshanee Akin M.Ed., a passionate author and fiber artist, can’t wait to guide you step-by-step through these bare hand techniques. No prior experience needed – just an open heart and curious hands.
