Moulin Rouge! (Big Screen Classics)

In 1890s Paris, set against the backdrop of a spectacular Moulin Rouge show, an idealistic young writer is drafted into a bohemian entourage and falls in love with an ambitious but doomed showgirl who is caught between the hero and a ruthless duke.

Ewan McGregor, Nicole Kidman, John Leguizamo, and Jim Broadbent star in Baz Luhrmann’s sumptuous jukebox musical, the follow-up to his smash hit ROMEO + JULIET.

In addition to Billboard No. 1 hit “Lady Marmalade,” a cover of the Labelle song by Christina Aguilera, Lil' Kim, Mýa, and Pink, the film features cast members reinterpreting contemporary and classic pop hits alongside David Bowie, Beck, Rufus Wainwright, and more.
