This series meets on 9/10, 9/17, 9/24, & 10/1 from 10:30am to 1pm.You'll explore the basics of color, value, line, and composition while being 'in the flow'. While looking deeply at flowers, you'll translate what you see into watercolor paintings on a selection of papers, greeting cards, paper cups, and personal mandalas.No experience is necessary for this joyful and supportive creative space.Each participant is asked to bring inexpensive watercolor paint, a few brushes, and an apron.Lois will provide watercolor paper, additional paints, brushes, & flowers.$125 for the 4 week series. Ages 16+~ ~ ~Artist Bio:Lois Barber, the artist guide for the class, is an experienced watercolor painter and former art teacher. She has studied and practiced meditation and mindfulness for 34 years. Thich Nhat Hanh (pronounced Tick Not Hon), Vietnamese Buddhist monk, has been her primary teacher. Mostly she has fun painting Plein Air (outside) capturing the beauty of the world, and has created and painted hundreds of whimsical birdz that you can view on her website: https://birdz.gallery~ ~ ~Class Review:"I took Lois Barber’s Mindfulness in Watercolor Class two times.
