WHAT: Pedalin’ Fools Adventure- Planetary Alignment Night Hike
WHEN: Saturday, 02/28/2026; 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
HOW FAR: approximate round trip total, 4 miles
HOW FAST: Average speed: walking pace
RIDE TIME: approximately 2.5 hours
TRAIL CONDITIONS: We will be on snowy, icy foot paths from Battis Farm to Batchelder Park, at the top of Powwow Hill (aka Po Hill). Once there we will observe the planetary alignment; the waxing gibbous moon will be ¾ full, which will offer a fair amount of light, but headlamps are still required.
Snowshoes, cramp-ons, and headlamps are required for this Pedalin' Fools Adventure.
DIRECTIONS: We will be meeting at the Amesbury Filling Station before heading to Battis Farm for our hike.
IS THIS YOUR FIRST PEDALIN' FOOLS ADVENTURE OF THE SEASON?
You must fill out a waiver on an annual basis for yourself, and any members of your group who are under the age of 18.
