Round Up for Food at First

Join Dog-Eared Books to raise money for Food at First, our local food bank, from November 10th through the 30th. Customers shopping in-store at Dog-Eared Books will have the option to round up on their purchase in order to donate.

This November, hundreds of thousands of Iowans will not receive their SNAP benefits, meaning that our neighbors will be going without food on their tables due to the choices of the current government in a month that is already incredibly busy for food banks. The majority of people on SNAP are seniors, families with children, and people with disabilities, but regardless of why you need support, we believe everyone deserves to eat.

In addition to our Round Up campaign, Dog-Eared Books will be a drop-off location for a food drive being hosted by the Story County Democrats and Indivisible Ames. This food drive will go through the holiday season.
