Bare Root Planting Class

Learn about the benefits of planting from bare roots in this program with Horticulturist Ed Moran. What’s involved? What maintenance comes with caring for young trees and shrubs? We will go over types of bare roots, bare root production, how to plant, and general tree biology. We will also cover the basics of tree and shrub care and pruning, especially within the first 2-3 years of growth, and there will be an opportunity to purchase additional bare root trees ahead of our Spring Plant Sale.

$120 Members Must Present Membership Card at Check-In
$95 ISU Students Valid with Student ID
$45 ISU Students (class only, no tree) must show valid Student ID
$36 Members (class only, no tree) must show Membership card
$60 General Public (class only, no tree) non-member
