The Summit aims to inspire, educate, and empower attendees to continue to support Iowa as the World Capital of Trails and a more bicycle-friendly state.

The presentations provide platforms for discussion and collaboration on a variety of topics such as trail development (acquisition, phasing, and construction), on-street cycling accommodations and network planning, maintenance, volunteer management, policy, promotion, and marketing. 

An optional bike ride and evening reception will take place on Thursday, Oct. 1; keynote presentations, informational sessions and networking opportunities will take place Friday, Oct. 2. 

This event is hosted by Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation, Golden Hills RC&D,  Iowa Bicycle Coalition, the National Parks Service RTCA, Travel Iowa, Wabash Trace Nature Trail and Iowa State University. All proceeds go to future conferences and trail-related projects.
