Come along and immerse yourself in 2 hours of creative fun by following our proven Artlife Method of teaching, you’ll have the opportunity to explore different mediums and techniques, enhancing your skills and understanding of art. You’ll learn how to truly “see” the world around you, translating your observations into original works of art. All at our own private studio nestled in the beautiful country grounds of Woodrow High House.
– We understand that life can be unpredictable and we’re here to help.
As a gesture of goodwill, we offer one make-up class per 6-week block to support our students. This runs on the 5th Saturday of every block.

What You Can Expect
– Creative Freedom: Use a wide range of materials, from charcoal, pencil, pastels, acrylics, oils, and watercolours, to ink and mixed media. We’ll guide you in experimenting with these different materials, helping you find the right tools and techniques for your personal artistic expression.
– Hands-On Learning: Our studio is designed to give you space to create and explore. With expert guidance, you’ll learn how to capture what you see in a way that reflects your unique perspective.
– Skill Development: As you immerse yourself in the creative process, you’ll gradually build the confidence to decide for yourself how to translate your observations into your own artwork. Whether you’re drawing, painting, or experimenting with new techniques, you’ll be supported every step of the way.
– Art History: In each session, students will be exposed to relevant historical works of art which will expand their knowledge of art and broaden their artistic range.
About the artist Sarah – Award-Winning Lecturer & Founder of Artlife studio
Sarah is an award-winning lecturer with a Distinction-level PG Cert in Creative Courses and a Fellowship of the Royal Society of Arts. With over 27 years of experience, she has developed a unique teaching method that has been highly effective in unlocking the creative potential of students at all levels.
