Vier vrienden en een stapel demo’s in een vastlopende computer aan de rand van de stad groeiden uit tot een ijzersterke band met muziek als houvast in schrale tijden. Hun debuutalbum ‘Good Company’ is precies dat: de hand die je de moshpit in trekt, en je overeind helpt als je valt. Na twee EP’s en een lange reeks festival shows waaronder Best Kept Secret, Paaspop, Wilde Weide, Wildeburg, Eurosonic, Noorderslag en Trans Musicales (FR) verscheen dit debuutalbum op 27 maart 2026 via label Geertruida.

‘Good Company’ laat horen dat punk niet alleen woedend hoeft te zijn. Dit album ontstond niet vanuit grote plannen of verre idealen, maar in een levendige vrijplaats aan de Zuiderzeeweg, ergens bovenaan de slooplijst van de gemeente Amsterdam. Met de plaat maakt L.A. Sagne een snoeihard statement tegen uitsluiting en eenzaamheid in een wereld die eng is, maar waarin niets doen enger is. Een verzameling punkmanifesten over generatie-frustratie, gemeenschap, dromen die onhaalbaar lijken, falende systemen, uitzinnige liefde en soms simpelweg de behoefte om daar juist even niet mee bezig te zijn.
