30th San Francisco Bay Flyway Festival Go Wildly Live Outdoors] 2026 invites you to another of our weekend series of guided outings, car caravans and gatherings held in January and February 2026 in our lead-up to the 30th San Francisco Bay Flyway Festival weekend, February 13, 14 and 15, 2026. 

Join Myrna Hayes and special guests on local wilderness (wild near us) adventures.

Our guest guide for this morning is Birding enthusiast and Flyway Festival presenter, Michelle Eliker, who will guide a birdwatching walk suitable for all levels of birding on flat, easy, walking at Wetlands Edge Trail, along tidally influenced inlets off the Napa River, large wetland ponds and adjacent woodlands.

Expect to see waterfowl and shorebirds in the River bays and marshes and songbirds in the woodlands and wetlands. Raptors are in the woods and sky, above. 

We’ll bring a viewing scope. Bring your bird ID book and learn from Michelle, a fan of using bird ID books while birdwatching to identify what you are seeing. Learn how the different books are designed for use in the field.
