This is a chance to meet other runners, chat, and test a selection of trail shoes provided by Altra Running. Maggie, who works closely with Altra, will talk you through the shoes on offer and help you choose the right option for the run.In addition to this we are putting together other goodies for our guests. OTE have kindly sent us a selection of their sports nutrition; gels, chews and protein sachets will be on offer. And Papertrails are offering an exclusive discount to their unique GPX maps, allowing you to create a beautiful memento from a special run.At 10:00am, we’ll head out on an approximately 5-mile / 8km trail run, moving at a relaxed, social pace with plenty of stops for photos, regrouping, and conversation. The run will be led by Katie Allen and Maggie Dempsey.Katie is a qualified Mountain Leader and experienced ultra and trail runner, currently navigating training through menopause. She’ll be available to answer questions around mountain navigation, kit choice, and building confidence in more challenging terrain. Maggie is a highly qualified coach with deep roots in the mountains, bringing an elite skillset as a UKA-certified Trail and Fell Running Coach, UESCA Ultra Running Coach, Level 4 Strength & Conditioning Coach, Mobility Specialist, and Intrinsic Biomechanics Practitioner.About the brands:Altra Running: Crush your run, not your feet.
