Memorial Service for Jack Vogel

The Scouting world lost a dedicated scouter with the passing of Jack Vogel in August of 2025. Baden-Powell Scouts and Scouters may remember Jack from his years of volunteering within the Cradle of Liberty Council, Baden Powell District, and multiple units, most recently as Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 3 Ambler and Chartered Organizational Rep for Pack 408.

A true servant leader, Jack devoted his time to teaching youth scouting skills and mentoring scout leaders within his units. He was always there with a helping hand, whether it was teaching scouts how to whip and fuse or guiding a scout on an Eagle project. He helped out wherever he was needed—he was always present and ready to help. Together in partnership with Troop 3, Pack 408, and Baden Powell District, we are holding a Memorial Service for Jack on February 26th at 7 PM at Upper Dublin Lutheran Church (411 Susquehanna Rd, Ambler, PA 19002). Pastor Keith Anderson will preside over the service, and we will offer time for people to share their memories of Jack.
