Yin yoga is a balm for our times. In a world that moves at a rapid pace, glorifies busyness and is constantly asking us to do more, yin yoga is a practice that teaches us to slow down, reconnect with our bodies and helps us foster resilience to hold the complexities of our human experiences.
*This training is in-person with online components.*
In yin yoga, the gift of time and slowness allows us to modulate, observe, and feel more deeply. This cultivates introspection (our sense of self), proprioception (our awareness of the body in space), and interoception (our connection to the inner world). Long before modern science, the ancients understood these layers of being through the Kosha Model.
In this immersion, we’ll explore the deeper dimensions of practice— yoga philosophy, meditation, and your own inner landscape.
Topics Include but are not limited to:
✨ The Nervous System
✨ Yoga Philosophy + Yoga Sutras
✨ The Koshas: 5 Layers of Being
✨ Meditation Technique: Breath as the Anchor
✨ Serenity Kriya
