Since 2001, communities around the world have participated in Walk a Mile in Her Shoes®, the International March to Stop Rape, Sexual Assault, and Gender Violence. This meaningful event invites people to come together, raise awareness, and stand in solidarity with survivors of sexual violence.

The phrase “you can’t understand someone’s experience until you’ve walked a mile in their shoes” takes on a powerful meaning at this event.
