The TTUHSC Internal Medicine at Amarillo, in association with the TTU GRILL Lab and TTUHSC Garrison Institute on Aging of Lubbock, are excited to bring a special community event to the Amarillo community.
On Friday, November 14, 2025 at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Amarillo, located at 1400 South Coulter Street, Amarillo, Texas 79406, in the first floor lobby, from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., there will be a FREE memory screening event.
In addition to the memory screenings, there will be a presentation made by guest speaker Dr. Adrienne Johnson of the University of Wisconsin.
What is a memory screening?
Cognitive screenings or memory screenings, are safe and simple "check-ups" for your brain. By testing your memory and other thinking skills, these screenings can help in identifying any possible concerns you may have with your memory. With Dementia, early detection is critical for positive outcomes.
