Join the Epilepsy Foundation Texas on Saturday, May 16th, for the Texas Epilepsy Walk - Amarillo! We are gathering at Thompson Memorial Park and the Amarillo Zoo for a morning of celebration, family fun, and meaningful connection.
This walk is a powerful moment for our Panhandle community to stand together, driven by the care we provide for one another, and fueled by the hope that every person living with epilepsy in West Texas has the support they need.
What to Expect
A Day at the Zoo: Your registration includes an official event t-shirt and full-day admission to the Amarillo Zoo! Enjoy the festivities at the park and then head into the zoo to spend the afternoon with the animals.
Making the Panhandle Safer: Join our mission to make our region the "Safest for Seizures." We challenge every team to get Seizure First Aid (SFA) Certified. There are prizes to be won.
Local Impact: Funds raised stay in Texas to support our specialized medical clinics, camps, and education.
Family Fun: Kick off the morning with our Walk Ambassadors, live music, games, and activities for all ages.

10:15 AM: Live Seizure First Aid Demonstration
10:30 AM: The Walk Countdown! (Head to the zoo at your own pace)
