Thomas Sills, "Home"

Thomas Sills was an important artist in the Abstract Expressionist movement. His later work evolved into Color Field paintings. Sills became regarded as an exceptional colorist. Students will discover the works of many Color Field artists and create their own color-filled paintings.

Saturday Studios are inspired by works from AMoA’s permanent collection.
