- **Event Description**: Join Panhandle Democrats as we march in the 2026 Juneteenth Celebration Parade in Amarillo.

We are proud to participate in this celebration of freedom, community, history, and unity. Panhandle Democrats will be marching in collaboration with the Potter County Democratic Party, Randall County Democratic Party, and Democratic candidates who are joining together to show support for this important community celebration.

Parade Details

Date: Saturday, June 20, 2026
Line Up Location: Amarillo United Citizens Forum, 901 North Hayden
Line Up Time: 8:00 AM
Parade Start Time: 10:00 AM
Parade Route: Begins at 9th and Hughes and goes north to end at Bones Hooks Park

Volunteers are invited to march with us or cheer us on from the parade route.

A few vehicles will be available for riders who need to sit during the parade. Passenger space will be limited, and most volunteers should plan to march alongside the vehicles.

Our goal is to have Panhandle Democrats volunteers distributed among participating Democratic candidates so we can support their campaigns while also showing our presence and support for the Juneteenth celebration.

Outfit plans, final meetup instructions, and additional details will be shared with volunteers closer to the event.

Those who are not able to march are still encouraged to attend, celebrate, and cheer from the parade route.
