Have you ever heard of the Gene Keys, or felt drawn to a contemplative practice that invites you to understand yourself more deeply?
Over the next year, I will personally be participating in a year long online retreat with the Gene Keys. Alongside that commitment, I am beginning something new and opening an invitation to form a like-minded, in person community here in the Amarillo area.
I am launching a private Facebook group and a monthly in person gathering as a way to build a thoughtful, grounded community around contemplation, conversation, and lived integration.
This space is open to those who are already familiar with the Gene Keys, whether or not they are participating in any online retreats, AND to those who are completely new and simply curious!
There is no requirement to commit to any online courses or programs. This community stands on its own as a place for exploration, learning, and reflection. There are a few books or audio transmissions that will be required to follow along with the practice.
For those unfamiliar, the Gene Keys were founded by Richard Rudd, a poet and contemplative teacher. While the work draws inspiration from the I Ching and Human Design, it is ultimately a living transmission rooted in silence, inner listening, and poetic contemplation, inviting transformation through patience rather than technique. It does not require prior knowledge. At its heart, the Gene Keys offer a contemplative path of self-inquiry, inviting awareness of how our patterns, challenges, and inner tensions can become pathways to wisdom and embodiment.
Each person has a unique Gene Keys profile, which you can generate through the Gene Keys website. This profile becomes a personal contemplative map, offering language and insight into the themes you are here to work with in your own life.
The Gene Keys are not something you need to master or believe in. They unfold slowly through contemplation, honest reflection, and lived experience. What we often call shadow is approached not as something to fix, but as something to listen to, allowing deeper gifts to reveal themselves over time.
If you are seeking a spiritual practice that welcomes depth, honors honest self-reflection, and supports transformation through awareness rather than pressure, this may feel aligned.
All belief systems and spiritual backgrounds are welcome. This is not a group formed around any single theology, religion, or doctrine. It is a contemplative practice centered on lived experience, reflection, and meaningful conversation.
This gathering is intended for those who value regular connection, shared conversation, and the slow building of trust that comes from meeting together over time.
The private Facebook group will serve as our shared space for connection, resources, and ongoing dialogue as the community forms. We will meet monthly in person in Amarillo to reflect together on themes emerging from our individual Gene Keys profiles, to share lived experiences, and to cultivate grounded and authentic connection.

We will pause in December, with gatherings continuing into January 2027. Dates and times are subject to change.
