In today’s digital world, social media presents, unique opportunities, and ethical challenges for mental health professionals. This brief presentation explores the ethical considerations counselors must keep in mind when using social media, both personally and professionally. Topics include maintaining client confidentiality, managing boundaries, avoiding dual relationships, and understanding how an online presence can impact therapeutic relationship.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, supervised by Dr. Allison Hunter.
I’ve been working with TPC FAYS program for the past eight years and since November 2024, have been serving children and women through my private practice, (Im)Perfect Therapy.
In addition to my clinical work, I am the host of the (Im)Perfect Woman podcast and the author of Fill-In Study Guide for the CPCE and NCE.
Outside of my professional life, my most meaningful roles are being a wife and mother, which have been experiences that have deepened my belief in the power of prayer. In my free time, I enjoy true crime documentaries, working out, and planning future travel destinations.
