We’re kicking it old school at Greenbean Altoona with Summer Retro Rewind at Greenbean!
On Friday, August 7 from 4–8 PM, we’ll have two NES systems set up and ready to play. All your favorite classics are here! Donkey Kong, Super Mario Bros., Pac-Man, Duck Hunt, and Tetris! Grab a controller, choose a game and write down your highest score.
Then, practice throughout the week and return on Friday, August 14 to see whether you can beat your own high score—or take down someone else’s! ?
Think you have what it takes to rule the racetrack? Sign up for our Mario Kart World, for the Nintendo Switch 2, Competition on August 21 for your chance to win the grand prize: a $100 Cartridges Galore gift card! Additional prizes will be awarded throughout the event, including Pokémon cards, Cartridges Galore & Greenbean gift cards and more!
We hosted an event like this a few years ago, and we’re so excited to bring it back. Creating fun ways for our community to come together is one of our favorite things—especially for the kids—but remember, this event is for all ages!
Bring your friends, bring your family and even bring your own handheld gaming device to play while you wait for your turn. Come spend your Friday night with us, grab a Greenbean drink and throw it back to the good old days!
