Monoprinting Class for Kids

In this hands-on workshop, young artists will explore the exciting world of print-making by making their own monoprints. Unlike other types of art where you make copies, a monoprint is a special, one-of-a-kind masterpiece that cannot be exactly replicated! We will use safe, washable paint, and textured materials to paint, draw, and smudge designs onto a special surface. Then, the most exciting part—pressing paper on top to transfer the design! Students will learn how to create, swipe, and lift their art to reveal stunning, colorful prints.

• For ages 5-9 years old (drop off is encouraged as space is limited)
• Process Art: Focuses on the fun of creating rather than the final result.
• Instant Results: Kids see their artwork transfer immediately, which is super engaging.
• Take-Home Art: Every student will leave with multiple unique prints to show off.
