SheJumps | Darby Canyon Wind Cave Hike | WY

Please register ahead of time so we have an idea of who is coming!

Timeline:

8:30 AM - Arrival at back lot of Darby Canyon Road, Alta, Wyoming. We will do introductions and set intentions. Carpooling is encouraged.

9:00 AM - Hit the trail! We will be going at a pace that is good for everyone. Checking in periodically, taking breaks where needed.

*11:00 AM - 12:00 PM - Summit Lunch and Activity! BYOL (Bring your own lunch!)

*2:00 PM - Back to vehicles and goodbyes.

*Times will vary on group pace

This is a moderate-level hike with elevation gain. See the :

Length: 6.3 Miles

Elevation Gain: 1,881 ft

Estimated time of hiking: 4~ Hours

What to Bring:

-Shoes with traction suitable for hiking (athletic sneakers, hiking shoes or boots, etc.)

-Plenty of water

-Snacks and a Lunch

-Sunscreen & a Hat

-Layers in case weather changes

Cost: Free!

Who can attend?: We welcome all women and girls—transgender and cisgender, as well as non-binary people. This hike is open to all ages 8+ and all skill levels - beginners are ENCOURAGED! Any participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. We will go at the pace that best suits our entire group. However, please note that the trail will NOT be ADA Accessible. Pre-registration is required for all attendees. Please leave your dog(s) at home.

If you need to request any accommodation(s) for the hike, please do so at checkout. We will do our best to accommodate the needs of all of our participants so everyone can enjoy the hike to the fullest with us.

*Please note: the event is subject to cancellation due to inclement weather. We will let you know as late as the night before if we need to cancel due to weather conditions.

Facility & accessibility information: There are no bathrooms available in the parking lot or on the trail (Check out our blog post about how to “go” outside!). Plan accordingly! The trail is not an ADA trail.
