Charley Castle and the Boys in the Well

Charley Castle and the Boys in the Well are not your granddad’s bluegrass. Connecting elements of bygone country and folk with modern sensibilities, their fast-paced, infectious dynamic and equally catchy songs make for a holler-inducing show. In stringband style, Charley leads the Boys on acoustic guitar, double bass and mandolin, with harmonies galore.

The quartet recently took out First Place in Tamworth Country Music Festival’s ‘Best of the Buskers’ Competition, which saw them play Tamworth’s biggest stage to record crowds in January 2025.

Based in Sydney, we have persuaded them to make a stop here here on their way south from the Woodford Festival. Join us in an afternoon of music, fun, and hollering here at Pearces Creek Hall.
