Hosted by Christians on the Moor, Church in the Barn and LifeStream, we invite all children in Years 1–6 to join us for a week packed with science, Bible stories and and fun.At Wonderzone, children become scientists for the week. We will explore the wonders of the world through exciting hands-on experiments, creative crafts, and high-energy games, learning about the world God made. Whether it’s bubbling potions or artistic masterpieces, there is something for every curious mind to enjoy.                                                            Running alongside the main Wonderzone activities, we are also offering a Free Football School. Perfect for those who want to sharpen their skills, stay active , and enjoy the beautiful game with friends. Children will join the holiday club for Bible story and snack time.At Wonderzone and Football School, the safety and wellbeing of children are our highest priorities. We are committed to providing a secure environment through strict adherence to the following principles:• Supervision: No child will be left alone or unsupervised with an adult; we maintain a "two-adult" rule or clear line-of-sight visibility at all times.• Vetting: All staff and volunteers undergo background checks and DBS clearances.• Training: Our team is trained to recognize, respond to, and report any safeguarding concerns.• Zero Tolerance: We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward any form of abuse, neglect, or inappropriate behavior.We believe that safeguarding is everyone's responsibility, and we work to ensure every child feels safe, respected, and protected.Event Details• Dates: Monday 20th – Friday 24th July• Time: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm daily• Location: Alston Moor Federation• Cost: Completely FREE• Ages: Children in school years 1 to 6• Refreshments: Snacks will be provided throughout the day.Grand Finale: Friday Night CelebrationTo wrap up our amazing week, we invite all children and their families to a special celebration event on Friday night at 6:30 pm.
