- **Event Description**: Another amazing marathon hike (26.2 miles) and this time it is doing a large section of the iconic Hadrian's Wall. This is a linear (A to B route) starting at 8.15am at the car park by Hole Gap, Milecastle 42 just North of Haltwhistle. The route the goes West all the way along Hadrian's Wall to Carlisle with the finish close to the Cathedral and Castle. Along the way you will pass many famous landmarks and stunning scenery including Cockmount Hill, Walltown Crags, Thirwall Castle, Gilsland, Birdoswald Roman Fort, Walton, Newtown, Oldwall, Crosby-on-Eden, Linstock Bridge, Rickerby Park and across River Eden to Carlisle. A stunning and historic hike. It should take around 9hrs so finishing around 5.15pm.

Fully guided throughout (Rating 4) and a fantastic medal for all finishers. We will help with logistics of transport and parking plus car sharing. Places limited.
