If you are looking for an excuse to get rid of things you no longer require, or want to come and sell your goods, we have the perfect event for you.

We have three such events through 2026 – on May 17 (when diesel trains will be running), on July 12 (when steam trains will be operating) and on September 13 (also steam).

The site will be open from 8.30am for set up and buyers can arrive from 9.00am.

Cash Only on the gate. No need to book a pitch – we have plenty of space. There is no requirement to book in advance, and no requirement to pay in advance. Beware scammers who make seek to impersonate us and request payment! These events have their own Facebook page for short-notice updates (for example, if there is poor weather) – search “Apedale Valley Light Railway Car Boot Sales”

Toilets and refreshments will be available.

Trains on the railway will start from 10.00. Standard fares apply to train rides. Cash & Cards accepted for train rides and station shop sales.
