When we hear about hunter gatherers society we often are led to believe that meat was the primary food source for early home sapiens. Kim has been cooking since the age of eight. From an early age she would watch Julia Child, Martin Yan, and Jeff Smith when you had to watch cooking shows on public TV.
At 14 years old she became a vegetarian. When in college, she learned to create gourmet meals using only a microwave, toaster oven and hot plate!
From the moment she stepped into the kitchen, I knew it was for me. It struck me like a bolt of lightning. I HAD to work in a restaurant. I love the camaraderie of working together to get the meals out to others.
Cook over an open fire has a special place in her heart. She is excited to show that cooking vegan in the woods can be delicious.
