Little artist explorers are invited to The Gleeson Centre at Darebin Parklands for a range of hands-on activities using clay in its various forms. Children could crush dried clay to create natural paint, make their own paintbrushes from found natural materials, build sculptures using clay and nature-based elements, or simply engage with and enjoy the rich sensory qualities of clay.Recommended for ages 3 – 8. All materials will be supplied.Children must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian. Each child in attendance must have their own ticket, but you do not need to book tickets for the adult/s.Please choose ONE of the below workshops:Session 1: 9.30am – 10.30amSession 2: 11am – 12pmTicket costs, per childStandard $10Mob tix freeAbout the artistsARISTRY24Artistry24 is a creative arts studio based in Thornbury, offering process-led experiences for children and adults at every stage of their creative journey.The studio is an interactive, welcoming space designed to support exploration, curiosity, and hands-on making. Through visual arts, light, sound, and construction-based experiences, participants are encouraged to investigate materials and processes while developing creative confidence, problem-solving skills, and both gross and fine motor development. A strong connection to the natural world and an appreciation for sustainability are woven throughout their approach, encouraging thoughtful making and material awareness.Artistry24 offers a wide range of programs including art and sensory play sessions, kinder art classes, after-school programs, home-school sessions, school holiday workshops, and open studio experiences.
