As support Green Heart Sound is joining us today with his big bag of dubs and maybe some new works!?

                "description": "Tjotjo Soundsystem \n‘Big word from a little Bird’ \n\nTjotjo Soundsystem is een Roots Reggae en Dub Soundsystem. \nIn 2010 zijn we, drie vrienden met een liefde voor reggae, begonnen met het bouwen van onze eerste luidsprekerkasten. \nDoor veel zelf te draaien en goed te luisteren naar alle soundsystems op onze ‘Dubdistrict’ sessies zijn we steeds een stap verder gekomen. \nHet resultaat is een zelf gebouwd soundsystem dat werkelijk een  beleving brengt en tijd tot een halt roept. Crisp and Clean! \nDe sessies in 2017 krijgen een nieuwe \ndimensie door de verdubbeling aan sub-bas vermogen. \nDaarnaast introduceert Tjotjo de nieuwe ‘Watajoy’ mini set voor kleinere optredens. \n\nWe kunnen niet wachten om van Terschelling tot Limburg Roots and Culture naar de festivals te brengen. Het enige dat wij nodig hebben is wat ruimte en stroom.\n\nWake up and live\nRas Tafari is onze inspiratie en leidraad. Tijdens een sessie staan we voor de speakers op gelijke vloer met het publiek en spelen alleen vinyl, live begeleid door zang en instrumenten. Het brengt zowel de muziek als het publiek dichtbij. \nWe merken dat er in Nederland steeds meer ruimte ontstaat voor reggae en soundsystem, als gevolg zie je ook steeds vaker ‘soundsystem’ in een naam terug zonder dat er sprake is van… \nDe oorsprong van Soundsystem leidt terug naar Jamaica in de jaren ‘50 en ‘60 waar rhythm & blues op straat ter gehore werd gebracht door rivaliserende groepen.\nEen strijd om het beste geluid (zelfbouw) de beste (eigen of exclusieve) producties. Gaandeweg werd ‘Soundsystem’ de centrale plek om nieuwe muziek te horen, nieuws te verspreiden. Een katalysator voor de ontwikkeling van muziek en essentieel in het ontstaan van reggae & Dub. In de jaren ‘60 vond de migratie naar Engeland plaats. De traditie heeft een grote invloed gehad op vrijwel alle populaire \nmuziekgenres. We vertellen je erg graag het hele verhaal maar dat past hier niet. \n\n2016 is een heel mooi jaar geweest voor Tjotjo Soundsystem.
