Hosted by the OSU Washington County Master Gardener Association, this event brings together community organizations dedicated to gardening, sustainability, and education—including Tualatin Hills Parks & Recreation District, Backyard Habitat, Eco-School Network, Oregon Agriculture in the Classroom, Growing Gardens, Food Hero, and Tualatin Valley Soil & Water Conservation District.

• Hands-on kids activities like planting seeds, harvesting vegetables, exploring compost critters, and going on a garden “safari”.

• Educational experiences in the Pioneer Garden featuring plants used for rope, dye, and even licorice.

• Themed garden tours including Waterwise, Native Plants, Vegetables, Herb Spiral, Pioneer, and Deer-Resistant gardens.

• Opportunities to connect with community partners and learn about local programs and resources.

? Take photos among the flowers, explore the gardens, and enjoy a walk through the beautiful Jenkins Estate grounds. Bring a picnic and spend time at the nearby playground after your visit! If you bring your pet, please be sure to have them on leash at all times.
