It honors the depth of living wisdom traditions while sharing them through a joyful, expressive, and contemporary lens, bringing together some of the Pacific Northwest's most heart-centered musicians, yoga teachers, facilitators, and practitioners. Bhakti Rising invites us to gather in shared practice, shared voice, shared rhythm, and shared presence. At the heart of the weekend is Bhakti—the yoga of love and devotion. Through kirtan, collective singing, Nāda Yoga (the Yoga of Sound), yoga, meditation, movement, and contemplative practices, we remember that love is not simply something we feel—it is something we practice, celebrate, and embody together. The gathering is lovingly curated and presented by Mokshajyoti, founder of Moss & Moksha. An Indian-born sacred sound and devotional artist, embodiment facilitator, and community builder with roots in Hindustani classical music and India's living wisdom traditions, she is passionate about bringing people together through music, yoga, and heart-centered community. Her vision is to create a bridge between ancient wisdom and modern life—honoring tradition while sharing it in a way that feels joyful, welcoming, and alive for today's world. We're deeply honored to welcome Swami Yatidharmananda, a yoga nidra and meditation teacher & monk from Uttarkashi in the Indian Himalayas. He carries the depth of traditional wisdom with remarkable simplicity, warmth, and joy. A kirtan singer, djembe player,, he has a beautiful gift for making spirituality feel deeply human, accessible, and joyful.
