I just started working on a playlist for the next "Influences" show. This wonderful track by Count Owen and His Calyposonians will certainly be included. It was covered by Harry Belafonte but this is superior to any other (in my humble opinion). The banjo playing reminds me of Barney McKenna of the Dubliners.
Wednesday, August 6th at 20:00. Two hours of Mento, Ska, Skinhead Reggae, Rocksteady and whatever else I can conjure up n the meantime.
