The Correctional Support Team (CST) of FCC Allenwood invites you and yours to our 17th Annual Emergency Preparedness Day! Free and open to the public! Schools & Colleges are strongly encouraged to attend this fun, free, and unique educational event! This is the largest event on the east coast related to Emergency Preparedness and Education!
Over 50 outside agencies will be involved, including the FBI, ICE, PA State Police, The Red Cross, PA Game Commission, along with local fire and emergency response agencies. These agencies will join forces with the crisis management teams to provide education on both institutional and environmental emergencies and disasters.
Those attending will receive information on emergency response, search and rescue techniques, proper care for animals during a crisis, gun safety and many other personal safety related topics. The FCC Allenwood CST, BREACH, SORT, DCT, and CNT will provide a variety of demonstrations, which will include: rappelling, building entries, breaching, shield and weapons instruction and equipment overviews.
Lots of giveaways and food will be available for purchase! Backyard Broadcasting will be helping out with the event and some giveaways!
Life Flight Helicopter and the PAANG Blackhawk will be flying in (as long as the weather holds!)
This event is FREE and open to the PUBLIC!
