Join us for our first Yule Log making Workshop!
Learn About the significance about the Yule Log:
Explore the traditions and symbolism of the Yule log, which predates medieval times. We’ll discuss its connection to warmth, light and hope during the winter season.
Create Your Yule Log:
In this hands-on class, you’ll craft a beautiful Yule log with altar or fireplace sized ash logs. Using faux and natural elements such as holly, pine, eucalyptus, oranges, cinnamon sticks, pinecones, ribbons and candles. Each piece symbolizes protection, persistence of life, fertility, peace and eternal life. All supplies are included for a magickal, inspired creative experience.
Infuse Your Craft with Intention:
As you create your Yule log, you will be guided through a Yule blessing ritual to charge it with intentions of protection, guidance, and hope for the dark half of the year.
Take-Home Handout:
Each participant will receive a guide to the Yule log and the 12 nights of Yule, the history and folklore of both, and suggestions for incorporating your log into your home altars, release/protection rituals and seasonal magick.
