In this hands-on class, participants will learn how to crochet dimensional flowers and assemble their blossoms into a wearable statement piece. Along the way, Drew will share tips for shaping petals, and finishing techniques that give your handmade jewelry a polished look.

This project is approachable for confident beginners and beyond. Basic crochet skills (chain, single crochet, double crochet) are recommended. You'll leave class with a finished or nearly finished necklace, the pattern, and the confidence to design more floral accessories on your own.

Come stitch, celebrate, and be part of the story - because handmade still matters.

From the Organizers:

The Allegan Area Arts Council’s 16th annual Art in the Garden is coming together beautifully! In addition to our popular Artists Market, we have added a variety of engaging activities to the festivities, including:

• 2 workshops: The Art of Miniature Moss Gardens and Create a Bloomin' Beautiful Crochet Necklace
• Ekphrastic art pieces with poetry readings
• Music by 'Iron Bridge Strings'
• A free Creative Corner for all ages!
• 'Bendford Draws a Blank' by Danielle Dufayet will be read by local author Carol Doeringer while you create your own piece of art
• Cocktail Time (1:30-3:30) with live music by 'Whiskey and Wine'
