Beginner Birding

Join us for a casual walk through
Armintrout-Milbocker for all ages and
skill levels. Over an hour, the group will
walk 1.25 miles with little elevation gain.
The wide path and easy terrain makes it
perfect for families. Pets are permitted
on leash, but any barking will scare
away many birds on this experience.
Our guide will show you how to identify
common winter birds like pileated
woodpeckers, chickadees, and
nuthatches by sight. Learn about the
Merlin app, which can be used to figure
out birds all year round from any
location.
No registration necessary.
